About Nickel Savings
Banks make money from fees and from the gap between what they pay you and what they earn. We write plain-English guides so you can keep more of yours, and put your savings to work.
What we do
We publish banking and saving guides, a savings goal calculator, a bank fee guide, the Better Banking checklist and a free printable Sinking Funds Workbook. We send The Nickel Ledger to people who sign up for it, and we're preparing Nickel Savings Goals, a paid app for saving toward several goals.
What we don't do
- We aren't a bank or credit union, and we never hold anyone's money.
- We don't rank banks, take referral fees or earn money from account sign-ups.
- We don't give individual financial or tax advice.
- We never sell or share your email address.
